Zazie Beetz, born in 1991 Born in 1991, she was raised in Berlin. Her father is an German cabinet maker who emigrated into America in the year 1990. United States in 1990 after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South Africa-American social worker who hails from New York. Jennifer Aniston is also a graduate of the same highschool. Beetz continued in her French study at Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. She auditioned for the college immediately for the part of Van in Atlanta. Beetz, who was born in Berlin and raised by a German-American father and an African American mother who lived in New York, spoke both German as well as English at home. Zazie has performed in local theaters since the age of a kid. Her passion for acting was evident and she began acting in elementary school. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dance skills definitely resulted in a successful. Her casting was finalized for her first role, Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the hit series Shake It Up. Zendaya was 11 years old while on a family road trip her family was driving through a meat-processing plant. She tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible, seeing all the animals being packed inside the slaughterhouse, ready to be slaughtered. It was shocking to realize that this is how I received my meat shocked me. Since then, she has been on an all-vegan diet.
