Allison Janney bio

Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th, 1970) is an American actor. Her work is recognized for its performances on the screen and stage She has been awarded a variety of distinctions, such as her own Academy Award a British Academy Film Award a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney was a regional actress for nearly twenty years before becoming famous for her role as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg in the wildly popular and acclaimed television drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney is a natural late flowerer. The time she got her Ohio driving license one year later, at age 17. It wasn't until she was 17 that she went on the first date until after when she entered University. And despite auditioning from the age of 23 she didn't appear on screen until she reached her mid 30s. Faris has since left Mom in the year 2020 has chosen to be very selective in her choices of roles. She has mainly appeared in films with the only exception being 2022's The Estate. According to Faris exclusively tells PEOPLE it wasn't a deliberate choice she had made. Anna Faris left CBS's hit sitcom Mom shortly before the end of its seventh season and the eighth. Faris initially stated that she was planning to leave the CBS sitcom Mom to accept new problems. However, today she reveals more about what led her back from acting. Janney is a regular character on the show and has always worn a full wig. Fallon said: "I told Fallon that she had been wearing her hair since the beginning of season 1, however, no one knew of it. Since then, everyone is aware." Janney intends to take the wig as a memento. In the early seasons of this series, the actress earned more than $125,000 each episode. At the end of the third season, her partner Allison Janey was earning an estimated $200,000 per show.
