Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a lovely fiance called JP along with a very unhappy father Henry. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram platform, @annephung. I write about my experiences- the good, the bad and everything in between. In 1990 I moved to America along with my parents and brother at the age of one and a half. Without my parents' love of hard work and sacrifice, I probably wouldn't even share my life. My parents inspired me and helped me to become successful. In my mind, I had a plan for my future. Attend college, and then graduate. Wed. Buy a house. Have kids. I believed that this was the ultimate definition of success. however, life has other plans to demonstrate what success meant. Money and the prestige of my job was not what I wanted to be. I felt as if I had wasted my time for the opportunity to earn a salary. While navigating my way through a different job, I realized that I was meant to be a personal trainer. I loved exercising, I enjoyed having fun and I enjoy helping people. In 2014, I founded my small company and I will celebrate my 7th year anniversary by 2021. As an Asian woman in the industry, we are among the few. As coach, my mission is to inspire people to live a healthier and fulfilled life through creating healthy and sustainable living styles that meet each individual's needs and goals. Also, I'm dedicated to empowering others so they can reach the goals they set, pursue their dreams and live the life of your dreams. My career was beginning to grow, I was struck by one of the greatest losses in my life - my mom's passing away. She fought a long and arduous fight with the disease and is now in Heaven as well as with me in my mind and heart always. Even if you can't see it at first, life can be a bit elusive in offering us the things we require. In so many ways, my mother's passing has changed my life. I honestly believe that she offered me another chance to be a part of her story after she passed away. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. The opportunity was there to embark on a new journey as I was given the chance to lead living a happy and fulfilling life. As I enter my 30's, I am alive and conscious of the fact that I am living now and not merely existing like I was in my past. My life is shared with you so that I can be able to share my stories and words. This can help you realize that you're not on your own. You're capable of achieving anything you want and more. Therapy is vital and is normal. Health is the greatest riches. I hope that you enjoy the life you want to live and end it without regrets, as death is the only thing promised to us in our life.
