Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's parents Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition, she has 739 rebound. Ogunbowale won gold at the 2013 World U16 Championships of FIBA Americas as well as 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships. The 7th of July 2014 was the day she was also named to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. Ogunbowale was also congratulated by the Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Even though she is still just a rookie Ogunbowale has already made herself a top basketball player, and she is bound to follow her dream.
